I'm pleased to announce that Perchance to Dream was well recieved at the South Beach International Animation Festival in Florida.

On Sunday, March 29th Perchance to Dream recieved the Audience Award's Golden Flamengo [link]

I had a really good time in Florida, and I'm grateful to Noreen, Steve, Jennifer, and all the participants for making the festival such a wonderful experience. Thanks also to Bill Plympton for hanging out and sharing some wisdom on his experience in the industry.

I will post the full summary of my stay at South Beach this week end on my new blog (will link later).

Got to meet Bill Plympton last night; very fun, got an autograph. I've started a blog on AWN and I'll post a link from there with stories from the trip.

Perchance to Dream was just accepted into the Blue Ocean Film Festival ([link]). It's unclear to me whether the festival is in Florida or Georgia as my source and the website are giving me conflicting information. I'll let you know as soon as I know.

As for the South Beach International Animation Festival in South Beach Florida, Perchance to Dream is due to screen at 8:00 pm on Friday, March 27th. ([link])

Perchance to Dream has also won best in department at the 46th annual student show on my campus.

I'll post another journal when I get more information about Blue.

Perchance To Dream has been accepted to the South Beach International Animation Festival in South Beach, Florida. The festival runs from March 27 to the 29th, so go check it out if you're in the area.
